Condition:
This antique hardcover is in fair condition. The green decorative cloth boards show significant wear, especially to the spine which is frayed and split. The cover remains attached but the binding is fragile. Pages are complete but show heavy foxing and staining throughout, particularly near the illustrated title page. Despite wear, the book remains readable and visually striking with its detailed engravings. A rare survivor of 19th-century publishing.
